Hostel Caravela, Arraial do Cabo

Crystal clear turquoise waters, stunning sunsets and fantastic boat tours are only a fraction of what Arraial do Cabo in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil offers tourists looking for a relaxing holiday with a hint of adventure.

We spent 4 days in the popular coastal town, staying at the brand new Hostel Caravela where we enjoyed air conditioning, fresh linen and towels and breakfast each day. Only 5 minutes walk away were a number of different restaurants ranging from Brazilian self serve to Italian and Japanese. Then we had beautiful beaches either side of us which boasted immaculately clear water and magical sunsets in the evening.

On day 2 in Arraial do Cabo we decided to take a boat tour with Bardot Brazil out to some of the most pristine beaches we’ve ever seen. They even call it the “Caribbean of Brazil” – seriously your mouth will drop. Especially when you see the turtles!

In exchange for our stay at Hostel Caravela, Arraial do Cabo, we captured footage of the area for later promotional videos, photographed both the hostel and their partner pousada and helped with some social media/blog promotion. Photographs of both accommodations are below.
